The Online Return After a Devastating Storm

After a period of absence, I am back online. Unfortunately, work on this website had to be put on hold temporarily, as my own mental balance required urgent restoration. What happened reads like a surreal movie script. Yet, it was the harsh reality I had to push through.

At the end of 2024, my ex-partner suffered a stroke. For a whole year, my life was entirely dedicated to her care. I helped her shower, dress, and accompanied her to numerous hospital visits. Additionally, I handled all the household chores, grocery shopping, cooking, and garden maintenance. Together, we worked intensively on her rehabilitation. I gave everything I had in me.

Astrologically, I saw a massive drive for freedom and independence coming up for 2026. This was due to several powerful Uranus transits and Uranus directions to my Ascendant and Medium Coeli (MC). I expected a personal or professional breakthrough. However, the cosmic energy played out quite differently—after all, Uranus always brings sudden, shocking, and unforeseen twists.

In February 2026, after nine years together, my partner indicated that she wanted to end the relationship. A breakup in itself is profoundly impactful on your mental health. Unfortunately, this turned out to be merely the mild beginning of a bizarre and terrifying chapter.

THE COSMIC TRANSIT
Uranus (Planet of shocks, revolution, and freedom)
Hits the Ascendant (Identity, physical foundation, and living environment)
Result: Unexpected, radical uprooting & redefinition

What Does a Sudden Crisis Mean for Your Mental Health?

When your foundation vanishes without warning, your nervous system enters a state of acute high alert. Two weeks before Transit Uranus hit my Ascendant exactly, the climax occurred. The breakup followed after my partner had spoken to a new therapist only twice.

Instead of gratitude (alltough not asked for it) for the intensive care I provided, I was met with a bizarre series of accusations: I allegedly hadn’t taken care of her, hadn’t generated enough income, and my tasks were never performed well enough. The therapist in question—who had never seen or spoken to me—had apparently judged that I was a narcissist lacking any capacity for empathy. The advice given to my partner was crystal clear: this man had to be put out on the street immediately. After all, there was no dealing with “this type of narcistic personality.”

This statement hit like a bomb. For a full week, I fell into a paralyzing state of panic. I slept barely two hours a night. My vision of the future fell apart, even though there had been ongoing issues in the relationship for much longer.

Overnight, I had not only lost my relationship, but I was literally facing the threat of becoming homeless!
I was given six weeks to pack my things; otherwise, my belongings would be put out on the curb with the help of friends.

The most bizarre remark? She said she was doing this “because she loved me and this was the best way to help me.”

When I asked her for help in finding accommodation, she sent me a link to local homeless shelters. My question about whether she was truly serious was answered with a “friendly” smile. Realizing that your own safety can evaporate so suddenly is a massive trauma to your psychological well-being.

Balance versus Imbalance: The Dynamics of Crisis

In situations of extreme pressure, a sharp contrast emerges between controlled, balanced responses and reactive, uncontrolled impulses. My astrological knowledge and therapeutic background offered me a anchor. Still, the battle within my inner world was immense.

5 Reasons to Choose Inner Balance During Extreme Stress

  1. Protection of your nervous system: Acute panic raises your cortisol levels dramatically fast, leading to an elevated heart rate, insomnia, and physical exhaustion.
  2. Preservation of clarity: A controlled response prevents you from making impulsive decisions that could worsen the situation.
  3. Prevention of escalation: By refusing to add fuel to the other person’s battle, you break the destructive dynamic.
  4. Preservation of self-worth: You refuse to adopt or believe the false narrative projected by the other person.
  5. Strengthening resilience: Feeling that you can stand tall under pressure leads to deep empowerment.

When you enter an unbalanced state due to overwhelm, confusion and fear take over. Research indicates that prolonged stress without recovery periods can temporarily deactivate the prefrontal cortex, making logical thinking nearly impossible.

StatePsychological DynamicPhysical ManifestationImpact on Life Path
In ImbalancePanic, self-doubt, obsessive searching for answers.Insomnia, muscle tension, exhaustion.Paralysis, loss of control and direction.
In Balance (Wu Wei)Acceptance of the moment, observation, strategic action.Regulated breathing, physical calm.Personal growth, perspective, and resilience.

I decided to consciously let the first shockwaves pass. I felt very clearly that reacting immediately would serve no purpose; I would only run around frantically without accomplishing anything. Therefore, I chose to “dance” with the hectic energy. Using breathing techniques, I absorbed the worst physical and emotional shocks.

Step by step, I learned to let go. After a week, I had calmed down enough to think clearly again.

I offered no resistance and didn’t defend myself against someone who was completely convinced of her own righteousness. I brought myself into a state of Flow. I applied the Taoist principle of Wu Wei (acting through non-acting, or not forcing/obsessing) to my life. It was a severe test, but it worked!

The Bigger Picture: Navigating Gaslighting and Chaos

When calm was somewhat restored, I began thinking strategically about next steps. The situation was bizarre, yet real enough that I had to act quickly. I thoroughly researched the characteristics of covert narcissism to check if there was any substance to the accusation. I quickly concluded that I did not fit this profile.

Furthermore, my ex-partner’s story kept changing. First, it was the therapist who said it. Then, she had concluded herself that I had narcissistic traits. Not long after, she claimed her friends noticed I lacked empathy. Only weeks later did I realize I was dealing with a severe form of gaslighting (emotional/psychological manipulation by twisting the truth and making the other person doubt their own perception). I realized I had landed in a toxic relationship and needed to find a way out toward safety, honesty, and trust.

One day before Transit Uranus hit my Ascendant exactly, I made a decision. I called the doctor for an official assessment regarding personality disorders, wanting to rule out any uncertainty through trained specialists. ADD runs in my family and I’ve recognized it in myself for years, alongside mild autistic traits—though these are obviously no reason to throw someone out on the street.

At the same time, I contacted local government agencies and social services, exploring options for emergency homeless shelters. Facing the prospect of actually ending up on the streets was deeply confronting. Additionally, after 22 years of self-employment, I made a choice: I began applying for traditional employment again. Thanks to a Solar Arc Direction from Pluto sextile Venus (also calculated on the exact date), I found a job, which brought much-needed routine, stability, and financial security.

My ex-partner agreed to temporary arrangements to give me a bit more breathing room—badly needed given the extreme housing crisis in my country. However, her promises turned out to be empty. Agreements were repeatedly postponed. Eventually, she presented a document demanding I confess to being a narcissist, neglected my duties, and had abandoned her during her recovery before leaving. Naturally, I refused to sign.

Important to remember: Never allow yourself to be forced into signing a narrative that violates your truth and integrity. Setting boundaries is the highest form of self-care!

Shortly after, my Gmail and Outlook accounts were hacked, and passwords were changed. It became clear that all energy was directed at undermining and sabotaging my life. Things felt so unsafe that I had to take my laptop everywhere with me—even while grocery shopping. Large sums were withdrawn from our joint bank account for her personal use. When I confronted her, I got no answer. Instead, I suddenly received “invoices” for thousands of euros. The investments I had made in the garden over the years were simply dismissed as “my investment in her garden.”

At the beginning of June, she ordered me to leave the house within a month, regardless of whether I had shelter. She also informed me that I was no longer allowed to see our dog—our child—and that there would be no visitation arrangements. When I asked why she was doing all this, she replied curtly: “I just don’t want to continue anymore.”

Time was ticking for me!

While I learned to move with the Flow of Wu Wei, my ex-partner resorted to force and manipulation, forcing her desired outcome regardless of the damage. Consequently, my path transformed into an intense battle for personal safety and inner peace.

How Can You Find Your Way?

Dear Seeker, if you are currently in the middle of a storm, know that you are not alone. The obstacles on your path are not there to break you, but to remind you of your own strength.

  • Do not resist the storm: When situations escalate, pulling back into the chaos doesn’t help. Use breathing exercises and observation to absorb the initial shocks.
  • Trust the facts, not the other person’s emotions: Do not accept guilt trips or false labels. Stay anchored in your own reality.
  • Seek practical safety: Establish clear boundaries, secure your data, and reach out to support agencies if necessary.
  • Move with change: Sometimes the energy of Uranus forces us to let go of old structures, no matter how painful that feels in the moment.

Summary & Your Next Step

In this first part of my story, you saw how a stable life can completely derail in a short time. Yet, this is not the end of the hero’s journey! In the upcoming second part, I will reveal how astrology and Taoist principles kept me safe and grounded. There was an important Uranus Direction which trined my Ascendant, which brought a huge relief.

Key Takeaways (Aha Moments):

  • Resistance increases pressure: Applying Wu Wei allows you to retain control over your nervous system and mental well-being.
  • Astrology as a compass: Transits like those of Uranus do not predict doom, but invite necessary renewal.
  • Protect your boundaries: Do not allow yourself to be dragged into gaslighting or unreasonable demands.

Are you curious about how this story unfolds? I will tell in the coming weeks! The story is not ending on the streets, but I have to be carefull for the moment. My ex-partner is still hunting me. When things are arranged, I will tell you the second part, with a much more glorious ending then expected 🙂
