Today we delineate the USA Natal chart, found by Joan Quigley. She was the private astrologer of the First Lady Nancy Reagan. I think Joan Quigley was right (credits to her for revealing and sharing this chart!), which means that we (astrologers) are using the wrong chart with the Sibley chart. In our next article we will delineate the US Sibley chart in the same way. In the third article, I will sum up, combine and explain several parts of both charts, to compare them with each other.

Understanding the Controversy: Why Astrologers Debate the US Chart
The debate over The Correct US Natal Chart: Sibley vs Quigley often hinges on the Ascendant: Sagittarius vs. Gemini. However, the internal logic of the Gemini-Rising chart, when delineated, provides a more accurate reflection of the nation’s core character and history.
Intentions: Let me be clear about my intentions in this article: I am not here to shock and to be disruptive, although I understand that this article and my explanation might be experienced as a shock. However, my point is: Better to turn back halfway than to be completely lost. This is, especially for astrologers in the USA, quite literally an almost 180-degree turn from the chart. I don’t deny the Sibley chart though, it’s an important chart for the US, but it’s not the Natal chart. As an astrologer, however, I want to be absolutely sure what the correct chart is, in order to check my astrological findings against actual events. Hence, it is important to know which one is correct: The US Sibley chart or the US Natal chart by Joan Quigley.
Why the US Sibley chart has been used for so long, despite Joan Quigley’s efforts, has not become clear to me. So let’s start by checking whether my assumption that the US Sibley chart is NOT the correct chart, is also supported by the astrology! The Ascendant in Gemini in the 1st House: America’s Identity
